Easter Virtual Coffee Hour

This Easter we are going to try to have a virtual coffee hour using the videoconferencing software Zoom.  You can connect to Zoom using a computer or a smartphone--if you have a camera on your computer or smartphone, we'll be able to see your faces!  If you don't, you'll still get to see those of us who do.

If computer or smartphone doesn't work, you can also call in, like a conference call!

A specific link for our Easter meeting will be in the YouTube video description for the Easter Sunday service.

If using your computer:

Before our meeting, please go to the Zoom test site to make sure your system is ready to go. It will check your camera and your audio, and it will prompt you to download the necessary app. After you go through the quick test site setup, you can just follow the link we give you for our real meeting on Easter. This test site is at  Note that you need a microphone for audio and webcamera for video--most computers now come with a microphone and webcam.  If yours does not, try using your smartphone instead!

If you are using your smartphone:

Go to the App Store (iPhones) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for and download the Zoom app.  You will then be able to set up an account to use Zoom.

Note that when creating an account with Zoom, the basic account (the free account) is just fine.  There's no need for you to upgrade to the "pro" account.

If you are using a phone to call in (audio only option):

On Easter Sunday, we will include the number to call to connect to the conference call on Zoom.  It will ask for a meeting code and password, and we will provide those as well!

Again, specific links and numbers for the Easter meeting will be in the YouTube video description for the Easter Sunday service.  This is just so you can be ready to go on Sunday!
